So... about Coop and Ashlee

I want to thank everyone that answered the poll and left comments.

So after much consideration, I have decided to only clip when Coop and Ashlee actually share a scene together. I will put the clip on YouTube and offer it for download. However, I will still post any info or pictures I find on John and Caitlin or Coop and Ashlee. Also if I decide to write more fiction for Cooplee that will be posted here as well, along with any icons or banners I make.

If you are still following Coop and Ashlee's storylines I recommend Pooless' You Tube channel. She also has a great site where you can download clips.

If you are looking for some great Cooplee without having to watch the crapfest that GL has become, your first stop should be Jai's journal @ jailynn24 . Also there is a new Cooplee fanfic writer among us, that has started a really great story over on her LJ: rivilli . If you haven't checked out her story, you SO should.

Also, please don't forget to mark your calendars for the party at  Jai's journal on Tuesday. It's going to be a blast.


Mel asked for suggestions for other good soap couples yesterday, so I thought I would make a few extremely biased suggestions. *laughing* If you are deserting GL , I strongly recommend General Hospital. They have a lot of great couples and interesting storylines. 
Nikolas and Nadine:

They are a very fun, entertaining couple and their relationship is still pretty new. I enjoy them more everytime I see them. You can find the Nikodine playlist on You Tube here. I also post the clips of them here.
Spinelli and Maxie:

They are amazingly fabulous and if you don't believe me, ask Jai. *wink* I upload their clips here as well. My older Spinelli clips can be found here. There is also a host of info @ Defy Convention.
Lucky and Sam:

These two are having some angst at the moment, but I suspect they aren't through with each other just yet. They have great chemistry together. There are many LuSam clips at LiasonFan427's You Tube Channel.
There are also a host of other couples on the show, those are just my top three.

And of course, I can't pimp my couples without adding my ATWT love: Nuke!

My apologies for the rambling post. I would love to hear about everyone's favorite soap couples, so please pimp your couples in the comments.

Nik & Nadine: So cute and fun, am interested to see what will happen with them.

Spin and Maxie!!! I cannot get enough of them together. Fun, Intelligent, Dramatic, Sexy(when given the chance by the writers grrr), AND Romantic, what a soap couple should be! If only they'll officially become a couple :-) I can't wait to see their next adventure! LOVE

Lucky/Sam: Not a huge fan of either character but as a couple who found each other as they were picking up the pieces I think they work really well together.

And then there is Luke & Noah. That picture says it all. No matter what they are dealing with right now I have faith that they will work things out.

Love the post, AF! I think you made the right decision. I really hope through all the crap we are about to have to endure at the hands of Ellen Wheeler that Coop and Ashlee still share some scenes together. Maybe a friendship will start again and they will remember that their love came from that.

I am so excited that you are pimping the "Kiss My glASS, GL" party. With each passing day I'm getting more and more excited to see us come together as a community. The IIC can shake us, but they can't break us.

I also recommend, Becca's new fan fiction to anyone that hasn't read it. It is very, very good.

As for the couples:

Spixie has my heart right now. It's frustrating how slow their story moves, but the love they have for each other is so heart warming. *sigh*

Love Lusam! Can't get enough of the passion they have for each other. They are the hottest couple on the show. *fans self*

Nik/Nadine has a very quirky relationship that I enjoy. Sometimes I want to hit Nadine though... *laughing*

And of course Nuke... they just rock! **hugs**

Thanks, Jai. I honestly struggled with whether to stop clipping or not. I didn't want it to seem like I was giving up on John or Caitlin. I still love them, but even as talented as they are, they can't make this awful writing work. I do hope the show chooses to write their friendship back in to the show, but I'm not hold my breath or anything.

Naturally I'm pimping your party, girlie! I'm so excited about it. *grin*

I have you to thank for my GH couples. If you hadn't dragged me on to the Spixie bandwagon I would've never started watching GH. *many hugs*
