The second scene is actually really sweet. *sigh* I miss them. Overall I think these two scenes just made me sad. They weren't overly sad, but just the fact that we know JD isn't going to around much longer and stuff made them extremely sad for me. It was nice to see the real Coop for a few minutes, I thought he was gone forever.  Oh and HOLY CRAP... Ashlee mentioned Moxie.

It was so good to see them together and that scene alone would have given me hope for a Coop and Ashlee reunion if we didn't already know that John is leaving. I did like the fact that Ashlee actually lied about having a boyfriend and she showed real remorse about breaking up with him. You can tell she hates the idea of him with someone else. I have to say watching that scene made me very sad but it was also very sweet. srobinso21

I know how you feel. I thought their interaction was really sweet, but it just made me so sad. It was like a reminder of how stupid GL was for ruining such a great couple for no reason. Plus, the fact that John is leaving just made me that more bummed about the whole thing. AND I think they are going to hook Ashlee up with Grady and that is just horrifying.

That was just about the sweetest saddest thing I have ever seen. It's so much about what I've wanted for months, but also much about what I don't. I hate, hate, hate EW so much. I was awwing and aaghing at the same time. It's not good enough that they've destroyed what we came to love, they want us to hurt a little more too. I just feel sick. Sorry Jenny, didn't mean to rant. I'm so thankful for the clips. Thank you.

You are always welcome to rant here, Tracy. *hugs* It makes me sad the way EW seems to be trying to push Coop and Beth as some kind of great love story when we can all see that it isn't. Not to mention the way they are slaughter Coop's character by making him all stalker-ish and obsessed. Then they have to throw in a scene with Coop and Ashlee, and there is still so much magic between them, it's almost like she's rubbing it in. The whole thing is just painful to watch.

Thanks Jenny! I sort of saw it earlier but it was good to see Cooplee again. It is almost like they are trying to punish us with showing this now. In any case, it was great to see JD and CVZ together again. We all know how it SHOULD be!!! :( Hugs! Aus :)

Um, it really is hard to resist these two. I had to watch. I just seriously don't get it. Why are they trying to hurt us more? Why have Ashlee say that this is "real love" and not have him say anything about the fact that what they had was real love? What have the Cooplee fans ever done to them? I'm so glad Moxie was mentioned. I'm so glad that Coop told her she has always been beautiful, it showed that his judgment hasn't completely gone to crap. *laughing* This was real Coop and Ashlee... how sad that they came out at the end. *sigh* Thank you for the clips, Jenny.

Oh by the way: Beth's only issue is that she has three kids? Seriously?! Not the fact that she is old enough to be his mother, is dating someone she knows could kill Coop, and Coop has almost married her daughter? Lord she's/the writers are even stupider than I thought. *shakes head in wonder*

It makes me sick how EW continues to use Ashlee to pimp the Coop/Beth pairing. I think that is the thing that bothers me the most about the whole situation. What Coop feels for Beth isn't love, it's obsession and it's creepy. I don't know why they have to completely ruin his character. The only way this would be at all believable is if they were to discover that Coop had some giant brain tumor that caused him to act like an idiot.

She did fluck both Rick and Alan at the same time and didn't know who fathered her latest *ahem* child born out of unwedlock *is being good and not calling the child what it is*... so yeah, skanky slut covers it. *grin*

Oh, I totally agree. The writer's have no trouble writing Beth in character, it's Coop that has turned into a pod person. The other day when they had the Christmas party, she showed up at Company with Alan and her little spawn and she basically throws the kid at Marina so she can sneak upstairs and make-out with Coop. "Here take my kid, I need to go make-out with my daughter's ex-boyfriend..." *shudder*

And that my dear sweet friend is why I couldn't watch the show anymore if they paid me. Watching something like that would 1) make me hurl, 2) cause my blood vessels to pop and 3) probably make me break the television with the things I'd throw at it. I really have no clue why anyone would support this. John is going out in a horrible way. I feel sorry for him. Beth is the one that should die. Beth Chamberlin thinks flicking hair is an acting style. There is a reason she has NEVER been nominated for an Emmy in her 10+ years on the show. John Driscoll has. Caitlin Van Zandt was pre-nom'd. This isn't rocket science people. I mean really who cares about her? Heck even Alan deserves better than this whiny slut. *planning to kill her in a story soon*

At least I have my fan fiction Coop. *laughing* Oh and that brain tumor comment has sparked another idea in my head. *grin* By the way: sorry about the long rant. *laughing* It's early and it gets the blood pumping to complain. *wink*

Honestly, it will almost be a relief when they kill off Coop. At least then it's over, ya know. It just stinks that they feel the need to ruin his character before killing him off. I've already expressed my dislike for Beth (the character and the actress) so in order to avoid ranting, I will not go back in to that. But let me just say, I would love for you to kill her off in fiction. *laughing*

Please write the brain tumor story! That's what should happen on GL, it would explain Coop's crazy behavior.

I thought this was a total slap to Cooplee fans. While I loved the scenes, it left me sad and depressed, and wanting more. I really wish Beth was the one to get hurt over this affair, not Coop. Why they had to ruin one of the best couples on the show is beyond me. I don't particularly like the character of Philip, I never have, and to have to give up a Cooplee reunion for him to come back is too steep a price to pay in my opinion. Thanks for posting the clips, at least we know Cooplee still has the magic that they have always had.--BettyB

I do wonder why TIIC felt the need to show us what we were missing yet again. A part of me wasn't sure if I should even post the clips, because I know a lot of people are done with GL, but I have to see Cooplee through to the end. Plus it's always nice hearing what all my fellow Cooplee fans have to say.
