Here is the video of John's last day on set. They got him a cake and he cries a little. It's so sad. I would also like to point out that he totally hugs Caitlin the longest. (Jaitlin shippers rejoice. *grin*)

Thank you so much for finding this and uploading it. I was screaming at Beth Chamberlin the entire time. I agree it was sad, but I'm glad they made a big deal about John leaving since he was on the show so long. The Caitlin hug was fabulous!

Thank you so much for bringing this us to us Jenny, you are so awesome! He is such a great guy and it totally shows in that vid. I feel so bad for him, but I know that greater things are on his horizon and is he is so deserving. I didn't buy Beth's tears before and I didn't buy them here. The Jaitlin hug gave me such a big smile. Get busy Jai, we're waiting for that story! Again, thanks so much Jenny for everything you do. **hugs**

I felt so sad for him when I was watching this, but I do think it's great that so many of the cast showed up for him, especially considering a lot of them weren't shooting that day. He really hugged Caitlin. It was so sweet.

I'm so glad I saw this, Jenny. Thank you for posting! He is forever the gentleman, isn't he? Gracious to the end. I'm wishing and hoping wonderful things for him, and that he's back on our tv's sooner, rather than later in daytime or in primetime (I'm not fussy!).

He is such a great guy and he really gave the show more credit than I ever could. I hope he finds something else really soon. The Caitlin hug made me grin like a fool. *laughing*

Thanks for posting this clip. I thought it was much sadder than the actual show. He will be missed, but I know we haven't seen the last of him. What an unselfish actor to say it was all about the show. He must be a great, great guy. Thanks again!--BettyB

He seems to have a lot of respect for GL, which is more than I can say for myself. The rest of the cast seemed really upset about him leaving... it made me so sad.
