Hey Jenny - I know I'm a bit behind the times here.. had a few things going on. Almost too late to post my thoughts before the next episode *grin*.

Anyway I enjoyed a lot of the eppy. The look on Coop's face when he says that Ashlee is doing alot of things right was completely swoony and I have perhaps watched just that bit about 100 times *grin*.

The Buzz/Coop conversation WAS brilliant...

G actually looked semi-decent. Obviously washing your hair improves your appearance.. but who knew...

But two lines completely make me gag everytime I rewatch it.
1. Ashlee saying 'you saved my life' (as if.. what a complete overexaggeration)
2. Grady saying 'get blue to match your great eyes'... so smarmy the way he says it. Some people could carry that line off.. maybe with a self-deprecating smile to show they realise how cheesey it is. But they are truely trying to make him seem like a great seducer and he is just plain gross.

I wasn't really watching when Cyrus was charming Marina - but please tell me he did a better job than Grady!!

Your thoughts on Grady made me giggle. They are trying to show him as charming and I agree it isn't working. Compared to Grady, Cyrus does seem like a great seducer.

The Coop/Buzz conversation was definitely a highlight of the show for me.I appreciate that we finally got to hear how Coop was feeling and I love Buzz. *grin*

That look on Coop's face is definitely worth watching 100 times.

*sigh* They both look like they will stray. I don't like this story and I hate these writers.

Also Ashlee's obsession with food is...sort of heavy handed. Have the writers never heard of subtly?

Nuke's scenes were flipping awesome. Now that is how you write a powerful break-up/want you. *sigh* Love them.

This may sound odd, but I'd rather have both of them stray than having just Coop cheat on Ashlee. After todays show I think it's a break them up to get them back together story. I wasn't so sure of that before, but it kind of looks like that's the way they are headed... I don't know. *shakes head in dismay*

The writers do suck, but I read somewhere they are changing the way the writing staff is set up, so at least they realize there is a problem.

The Nuke scenes were amazing. Van and Jake rocked it. When Noah told Luke he loved him and his eyes were all teary, I started crying right along with him. It was sad and perfect.

Hey Jenny and Jai! I'm hijacking your posts...lol.

I just wanted to say thank you, Jenny for making the clips available yet again in a very timely fashion. I record the show every day, but keep all the clips in one nice little Cooplee file on my computer, so I really appreciate you doing this!

Secondly, let me just say that I agree with your statement about seeing both of them cheat rather than one or the other. Although I would prefer neither of them cheat, I don't think the writers are imaginitive enough to pull that particular rabbit out of their hats.

Also, I'm hoping your theory about breaking them up to bring them back together is right. I've kind of thought that for a while now. I think there was so much interest generated by this couple last summer when they were struggling to get together that they want to try and recreate that somehow. I guess this is where my undying hope comes in. *grin* I just wish they could be more inventive as to how to keep them apart. There are way better storylines out there than this stupid "cheating" scenario.

Jai, I completely get your frustration. I'm sure as a writer, you get even more frustrated by this ridiculous storyline. Try to stay hopeful. You don't have to watch if you don't want to, but please don't leave the board or us...we'd miss you terribly. :)

I'm glad you understood what I meant when I said I'd rather see them both cheat than just one of them. I thought maybe it sounded strange, but I said it anyway. *laughing* I just think that nothing would hurt Ashlee more than Coop cheating on her. It would be even worse right now because she's in such a bad place. If they both cheated at least it would be easier for them to take (or maybe it would just be easier for me to take.) Obviously with better writers cheating wouldn't even come in to play and that would be ideal, but considering what we have to work with... ya know.

That whole breaking up to get them back together may just be optimism on my part, but the writers have very deliberately shown the love between Coop and Ashlee at the same time they've shown their interest in other people. That's kind of why I think that, but I could certainly be wrong.

Cooplee or no Cooplee, Jai needs to stick around! *hugs for Jai*

Hey Jenny. I love the fact that you have some optimism left! That's terrific. I really, truly feel that although our couple is not headed in a great direction right now, that they will come back together towards the end of the summer. The writer's are trying to create their lame version of angst and I really do believe that they're trying to revive the Cooplee of last summer (however ridiculously).

That's the story I'm sticking to, anyway.

I have look it positively that Coop will not cheat on Ashlee in a million years no matter what some magazine says this is completely out of character for him. The writers do know what they doing here. Ashlee and Coop are not interested in other people it clearly shows that they both love each other very much. Coop is a gentlemen yesterday He thought Blake that was there to talk about the kiss he was very surprised that she took the hint to leave especially after he mentioned Ashlee. This all my opinion in this.This the beauty having these forms we can both voice our opinions

This isn't a forum, it's a blog... MY blog. And, while I enjoy people posting and sharing their thoughts, I do not like when people aren't respectful of others opinions. I don't know if you realize it or not, but it seems like you think you have the only opinion that matters and that everyone should agree with you. I'm glad if you think yesterdays show was great, and I don't mind you saying so, but don't try to force me in to sharing your opinion, because I'm old enough to form one of my own.
