Oh... that was fantastic... you are right - they did a brilliant job of making GL look good. I LOVED that they focused on Coop/Ashlee... yay!!! Could we not have had a funny Buzz/Doris scene though - like when he was ripping down all her election posters.
I honestly didn't know if Cooplee would make it in to the emmy reel, so I was pleased. Whomever was responsible for putting that montage together deserves some serious credit for making GL look like quality programming.

I know, that was the best part of the evening. The show as a whole was boring, although I did like seeing GH win. Kirsten looked beautiful and Bradford was adorkable. *grin*
You know what's funny rewatching that.... how is there no Bill or Lizzie?... I mean they have been giving that couple soooo much actual time on the show it's like they are trying to make that couple the lead couple for the future of the show. But all they got was about two seconds.
I'm not complaining - cause I'm happy if they are going to be going on the backburner - but it's just a bit wierd.
I know, that did seem odd. Bill and Lizzie don't do anything for me, but I know they were fairly popular, it seemed like they burnt out fast though. People liked them, then when they got together people didn't like them as much. I blame the writers for shoving them down our throats. Of course, once he figures out Ava isn't having his baby, Bill and Lizzie could get back together. I haven't been watching except for Cooplee days so I don't have all the details on exactly what the hell is going on with that story. *laughing* BUT... I hope Ava hooks up with Remy. *grin*
