So, recently I've received a couple of snarky, rude comments regarding Caitlin Van Zandt. I just want to make it clear, that I love CVZ and that my journal is a Caitlin-friendly zone. If you don't have anything nice to say about her, just don't bother posting, your comment will just get deleted, which is a waste of my time and yours.

I encourage opinions and rants on the characters, storylines and GL writers. I love when people share their opinions with me, but I would appreciate it if all comments about the actors that involve name-calling and rudeness are just left unsaid. Please feel free to go find some place else to post your negative thoughts on the actors, there are plenty of boards around that encourage that kind of behavior.

People suck. I can't believe that they would go on another person's LJ and do that, but it has happened to me as well. It only happened once, but it really pissed me off. I don't know why people have to spread hurtful venom about someone they don't know. It's rude and totally uncalled for. I'm glad you are taking a stand and know that I have your back. ***hugs***

Thanks for the hugs, Jai. *hugs for you* The first time it happened, I just deleted the comment and let it go. I figured whomever it was would get the point, but apparently that was not the case. It just annoys me because it's obvious that I like Caitlin and most of the people that comment here also like her, so why come here just to put her down? Anyway, I know this has happened to you, so you understand. I appreciate the support. *more hugs*

Good for you, Jenny! I hate that you even had to post this, but there are always people who think they're pushing the envelope by saying rude things, but just come off looking uninformed and unimaginitive. I applaud you for keeping your LJ a positive and friendly place to come and visit where people can feel free to share their (constructive) thoughts.

Thanks so much for the support, Emm! I really appreciate it. I didn't want to come off sounding like I didn't want people to express their opinions, I just don't really think the actors personal decisions need to be picked apart on my LJ. I'm glad you understand where I'm coming from.*hugs*

Good for you for posting this. But I can't believe tht you would have to. I can't believe that people could say bad things about CVZ- no matter what you think of the character or the storyline. People can be very mean and cruel. I have read some horrible comments on other boards (soaps.com, etc) but I never thought that people would post things like that on someone's personal website. Take your negativity somewhere else.

I can't believe how hateful people can be sometimes. But what I don't understand is this is obviously a site that loves CVZ, if that person doesn't like her why do they come here. That makes no sense to me. I'm sorry you have been having problems with this Jenny but I have to say I am a big fan of your LJ and love to visit for any new Cooplee news. Thanks so much, Sheryl! The support from all of you means so much to me. This problem is fairly new for me and I've deleted the posts as soon as I realized they were there, so hopefully nobody else was subjected to the rudeness of the comments.
