Hey my lovely internet friends. I must apologize for not updating my story. My computer died and I having to reinstall windows so things have been put on hold. Luckily for me I was able to back almost everything up. So, I'm LJ-ing today from my moms laptop.

I did want to share this article and a couple of new pics.

Caitlin Van Zandt, 23
PLAYS:
ASHLEE WOLFE ON GUIDING LIGHT
“She’s like a raw nerve moving through Springfield,” says Hinsey. Adds Logan, “This sexy, plus-size wonder broke all the rules in Soap-land, going from minor player to leading lady in record time. A rare and true original.”

Van Hansis, 26
PLAYS:
LUKE SNYDER on AS THE WORLD TURNS
“A sweet, tender, immensely brave actor,” says Logan, “who has weathered a firestorm of controversy in a landmark role.” (Hansis plays one of the rare gay men on soaps.) “Even the anti-gay, Christian-right grannies gotta love him.”

I really cannot figure out how these two stars get so much positive feedback and yet TPTB at the shows they're on fail to capitalize on their talents. I agreed totally with the article and even though the Luke/Noah storyline is not one of my favorites, I do think VH is a great actor. And CVZ is amazing, that goes without saying. I just think their respective shows should be giving both of them a bigger storyline.--BettyB

I agree BettyB, it's shocking how little air time Van and Caitlin get when they bring so much to their shows. They continue to receive praise for their work but the shows don't even seem to notice. It's a shame and not only does it stink for them, it isn't so great for us either.

**hugs** Sorry to hear about your computer issues. Heaven knows I can relate having just been through my own share of computer malfunctions. *laughing*

This article is so true. Van and Caitlin deserve better than they are given. Both are amazing actors that get shoved to the side for less worthy actors. I agree with Betty that with all the positive feedback the shows should be capitalizing on these two and their counter parts, instead they treat them like trash. *sigh* Thank you for the article. **hugs**

Thanks, Jai. *hugs* I actually cried when I realized I was going to have to format my hard drive. My whole life is on my computer and I was in complete panic mode. But, it's now up and running again (for the most part, the tv tuner is still having some issues) Unfortunately I have to reinstall everything and put all my pics and clips back on. It sucks.

As for the article, I couldn't agree with you more. It makes me mad to realize how much talent gets wasted on these shows. *sigh*

They're good choices but I gotta say, there are several that were left off, JD being one of them *sniff sniff* Thanks for posting JJ! *hugs*

It is disappointing that JD never gets the recognition he deserves. Plus we could have got a shiny new picture of him. *sigh*
